For the first time in our history, we are positioning SPORT 2000 in all the countries where our sports retail group is active by creating a uniform brand identity using the campaign \u201cWelcome Home\u201d and launching the new brand claim: \u201cHome of Experts\u201d. This will strengthen SPORT 2000\u2019s position internationally while increasing brand visibility in numerous countries. Where did this come from, and what does SPORT 2000 associate with \u201chome\u201d?<\/span><\/b><br \/>\n<b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Margit Gosau: <\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The challenge was to develop an international campaign with which every SPORT 2000 country could identify. We found the perfect common denominator in the meaning of the word \u201chome\u201d. As SPORT 2000 International, we associate \u201chome\u201d with our unique position in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sport2000international.com\/blog\/2021\/08\/these-megatrends-are-shaping-customer-buying-behaviour-in-the-sports-retail-sector\/\">sports retail industry<\/a>. Together with the world\u2019s biggest sporting brands, we are the home of sport and everyone who loves sport. How do you make sure of this?<\/span><\/b><br \/>\n<b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Mike Kerbage: <\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The campaign has been adapted to specific countries to make sure that our message gets across in every one of them. The tagline \u201cWelcome Home\u201d and the brand slogan \u201cHome Of Experts\u201d will be translated into the national language of each country. In Austria, for example, it will be \u201cWo Profis zuhause sind\u201d (\u201cwhere pros are at home\u201d). This also supports our claim that despite our strong bonds, we can act individually as a SPORT 2000 country.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:360,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">A soft launch has already taken place in selected SPORT 2000 countries. What kind of feedback have you received so far?<\/span><\/b><br \/>\n<b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Mike Kerbage:<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> We started a soft launch in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sport2000international.com\/blog\/2022\/03\/mega-store-sofia-bulgaria-experience-the-new-sport-2000-retail-concept\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bulgaria<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportdepot.bg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Greece<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sport2000.nl\/nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Netherlands<\/a> back in the autumn of 2021. Both our retailers and our partners have given us great feedback on the new campaign. Our retailers found they were able to identify with the campaign message. The same applies to our brand partners, who will enthusiastically incorporate our communication guidelines into their own international campaigns.
